Job Summary

A financial services company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter in Denver.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Evaluating mortgage applicant’s employment, debt, and income according to policy
  • Quickly assessing risk and making quality decisions on mortgage applications
  • Verifying information on mortgage loan applications

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience
  • DE and SAR/LAPP
  • Current experience as an active FHA, VA, Fannie and Freddie Underwriter
  • Knowledge in MSWord, MSExcel, DataTrac, etc
  • Strong working knowledge of mortgage credit profiles and credit history
  • Complete knowledge of loan documents
