Job Summary

An accounting staffing firm has an open position for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter in Matthews.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Evaluating debt and loan-to-value ratios, credit score, property valuation and various other factors
• Reviewing loan files for completeness and accuracy
• Determining and documenting loan conditions, communicate requirements, and/or decisions

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Knowledge and familiarity with current mortgage policies/procedures
• 4+ years of recent underwriting and/or due diligence (post-close) experience in the residential mortgage industry
• Knowledge of compliance laws and regulations-including TRID
• Understanding of mortgage regulatory changes
