Job Summary
A management consulting company is filling a position for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter in Richmond.
Must be able to:
- Perform frontline underwriting of conventional residential mortgage loans
- Review and analyze application documents provided by consumers
- Issue underwriting decisions using procedures, systems and ensure compliance or investor underwriting guidelines
Qualifications for this position include:
- 2+ years of frontline mortgage experience
- Demonstrated high underwirting skills
- Ability to calculate available consumer cash flow based upon documentation received
- Ability to reconcile debt, expense amounts, and ratios
- Ability to maintain required production and quality standards
- Ability to ensure quality customer service.
