Job Summary
A a large staffing firm is filling a position for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter in Vacaville.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Underwrite Conventional 1st and 2nd mortgage loans
- Verify for completeness, accuracy and compliance
- Develop and maintain up-to-date, sound knowledge of multiple loan product guidelines
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Minimum of 2 years current experience in mortgage loan underwriting
- Appraisal review and tax return analysis experience
- PC skills to include word-processing, spreadsheets and email
- Solid understanding of TRID- RESPA and Predatory Lending
- Strong analytical and decision making/problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and motivated to achieve goals with minimal supervision
