Job Summary

A mortgage lending company is seeking a Remote Mortgage Underwriter IV.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Reviewing initial submission of conventional loan files for completeness, accuracy and compliance
• Reviewing and clearing conditions
• Exercising good judgment, conducts reasonableness tests and issues quality decisions

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and underwriting experience
• 4+ years of recent Mortgage Underwriting Experience
• Working knowledge of ATR/QM Requirements
• Strong computer skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, DU / LP AUS systems
• Skilled and professional written and verbal communication skills
