Job Summary

A staffing and recruiting agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Mortgage Underwriting Manager.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Providing mortgage loans to customers
  • Reviewing and developing mortgage loan guidelines to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Working independently and supervising/completing tasks within allotted time to meet all deliverables

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 6 years conventional Mortgage Frontline Underwriting experience
  • 5 years Managerial experience in the Mortgage Industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of AUS systems (DU and LP), and proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, and Industry Loan Origination Systems
  • Current knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures within mortgage lending
  • Ability to work regularly scheduled hours, Monday - Friday, with some weekend or evening hours based upon business need
