Job Summary
A mortgage company has an open position for a Remote Mortgage Underwriting Manager in Rosemont.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Oversee all team member communications, meetings, periodic reviews
- Monitor daily production of the team and reallocate workload as needed
- Coach and train underwriters on best practices and support complex analysis
Qualifications for this position include:
- Associates and five or more years related mortgage industry experience
- 3 years of which are focused in direct underwriting
- Recent knowledge of mortgage underwriting guidelines demonstrated through recent underwriting experience
- Must have prior leadership experience
- Experience working with conforming and jumbo loans; Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac
- Experience calculating and reviewing income statements
