Job Summary
A real estate company is filling a position for a Remote Mortgage Underwriting Supervisor.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Review all suspended files and assist with corrections or will escalate to the next level for guidance
- Contact investors with guideline questions and communicate investor guideline changes to the CA team
- Assign files and monitors the volume per underwriter, and products
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Underwriter is required
- 3 years of experience with VA Underwriting is required
- Demonstrated ability to handle delicate situations with diplomacy and tact
- VA LAPP certification
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to work on a variety of projects independently
