Job Summary

A financial institution is seeking a Remote Mortgage Underwriting Support Specialist.

Must be able to:

  • Support the underwriting needs of our wholesale correspondent and retail business partners
  • Provide detailed underwriting support and resolution to basic underwriting scenarios
  • Assist the business partners through inbound phone calls

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in customer service as well as the mortgage industry
  • Strong analytical and technical skills including Excel
  • Direct experience with Desktop Underwriting, Loan Prospector, FHA Connection and WebLGY
  • Demonstrated success in working in a fast paced mortgage environment
  • Solid Conventional and Government Underwriting experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
