Job Summary

A lending company is seeking a Remote Mortgage Underwriting Team Leader.

Must be able to:

  • Act as the daily point of contact for all underwriting related questions from outsourced vendor(s)
  • Oversee assignments, routing, turn time and other service level agreements
  • Engage channel leadership for escalations, customer service issues, etc

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum five years of residential mortgage underwriting experience
  • Experience working with Fannie Mae Desktop Underwriter and Freddie Mac Loan Prospector
  • Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC and MI company policies and guideline
