An online media and lifestyle company for mothers is seeking a Remote Motherhood Lifestyle Assistant News Editor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Identify newsworthy stories and trends
• React to daily news and trends, producing 4+ trending news posts per day
• Pitch and execute story ideas, including longer-tail, originally reported features

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in journalism, preferably in daily news and/or digital publishing
• 3+ years experience writing for online daily news publication
• An understanding of SEO and how to optimize content
• Analytical, with ability to dive deep and use data to prioritize content execution
• Expert in traffic tools and analysis
