Job Summary
A technology consulting firm is seeking a Remote MQ Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Installing various MQ Server and Clients
- Configuring Server and Clients to mirror steady-state environment
- Troubleshooting problems with the MQ environment during and after application migrations
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Must be able to interact with various infrastructure consolidation/move teams
- Must have recent experience in large MQ environments
- Must be well versed with installation of MQ Server and Clients on multi-platforms
- Must provide leadership in a specific technology domain
- Must be familiar with the mainframe, distributed, network, storage, security, directory, ITIL/process, etc. domains
- Must be able to perform as "technician of last resort" in the event problem resolution
