Job Summary
A pharmacy benefit management company is filling a position for a Remote MRx Oncologist Physician Clinical Reviewer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing clinical rationale for standard and expedited appeals
- Reviewing all cases in which clinical determinations cannot be made by the Initial Clinical Reviewer
- Participating in on-going training per inter-rater reliability process
Position Requirements Include:
- MD or DO or Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery international degree
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine or chiropractic in one or more states of the United States
- Board Certified
- Familiarity with the principles and procedures of utilization management as practiced
