Job Summary

An IT solutions consulting firm is filling a position for a Remote MSSQL Engineer in Austin.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Working on database migrations, performance improvements, and Normalization/ De normalization Techniques
• Monitoring SQL Server Performance tuning in SQL Server and index tuning

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• MSSQL expert and in depth knowledge of Relational Database Management systems
• Experience with Cloud hosted DB engines (Azure / AWS)
• Hands on experience in monitoring SQL Server Performance tuning in SQL Server and index tuning
• Vast experience with database migrations, performance improvements, and Normalization/ De normalization Techniques
• Experience in creating Ad hoc reports and reports involving complex datasets and to query the database for Business Intelligence
• Experienced in creating and using Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, User Defined Functions, Sub - Queries and Joins
