This is a remote position that requires at least 20-25 hours per week with flexible hours and considered a per diem (W-2) employee position. The Profee QA Specialist will support the coding staff on various profee accounts and be able to give appropriate feedback.

Responsibilities


Responsible for managing the coders QA, including analysis and reporting
Profesional SX QA: Exeience required in Neuro, Urology, Physical Therapy, Thoracic are most important. Back up in General, Vascular, Podiatry, & IVR if experience.
Responsible for ensuring adherence to Coding Guidelines
Manages coding guidelines, working with manager & coders to ensure appropriate guidelines are set and implemented for quality measures.
Ensure that QA percentages are within acceptable ranges
Ensures Coder compliance with Industry, Aviacode and Client guidelines
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years' conducting medical coding internal staff QA/audits
Coding certifications (AAPC or AHIMA), (CPC, CCS-P, RHIA, RHIT) required.
Demonstrated knowledge of 1995 and 1997 Evaluation and Management Documentation guidelines and other professional documentation requirements
Knowledge of quality metrics and commitment to enforcement of standards
Cross functional expertise with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong computer skills including MS Office (e.g., Excel and Word)
Ability to multi-task and set/meet multiple deadlines under pressure with initiative, tact, and poise
Must have personal computer with the Professional Windows 10 operating system, dual monitors and reliable high speed Internet
