Job Summary
A financial services company is in need of a Remote Mutual Funds Paralegal.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Support the management of SEC and other regulatory filings related to the firm’s mutual funds business
- Understand the functions, legal and business needs across divisions, departments, and business units supported
- Support the organization’s goals and projects by conducting research and developing options and alternatives
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- College degree and paralegal certificate
- 5+ years related experience at a law firm or in-house with an asset management firm
- Experience with mutual fund SEC filings and content management tools
- Knowledge of applicable regulations, including the Investment Company of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940
- Ability to evaluate, interpret, and analyze legal information
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
