Job Summary
A provider of identity for the enterprise is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote MySQL Database Administrator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Maintaining Database Uptime in a 24x7 environment
- Documenting and automating operational processes, tasks and configuration management
- Leading efforts on performance tuning, scaling and benchmarking the data services infrastructure
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Proficient level MySQL Administrator with at least 4+ years experience
- Experience with MySQL / Percona Server 5.6 / 5.7
- Proficient level Chef or Puppet to manage configuration
- Proficient in a Linux environment including Linux internals and tuning
- Experience as a first responder for the data tier on a high-traffic site
- Experience working in AWS
