Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote MySQL Database Administrator.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Working with application IT teams to support issues and changes for MySQL databases
- Monitoring the health of MySQL databases and proactively remediate issues as needed
- Determining possible enhancements/upgrades to improve the stability of MySQL databases
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related computer discipline
- 3+ years of strong MYSQL database administration experience
- 3+ years of production support experience
- 3+ years of experience with relational databases, database structures and design
- 3+ years of experience with systems design, data management, or data warehouse also accepted
- Experience prioritizing and managing multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
