Job Summary

A social media website provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote MySQL Database Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Develop a backup and recovery framework in the event of data loss
  • Manage our AWS deployment and keep costs minimal
  • Develop or improve existing frameworks to automate our MySQL installation

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Ability to communicate as good in email as you do in person or vise versa
  • You love technology, innovation, and have an appreciation for graph databases
  • Extensive experience in writing efficient automation software
  • At least two years experience writing production level PHP, Python, or Java
  • Experience in benchmarking and performance
  • At least two years administering Innodb at scale
