Job Summary

A staffing agency is seeking a Remote MYSQL Software Database Administrator Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Monitoring and performing daily checks on QA and production environment
  • Researching issues found in daily checklist
  • Supporting MySQL related ticket requests for all environments

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Experience with headless Linux/RHEL and/or similar Unix-based server
  • Experience with MySQL 5.7/8.0 replication and administration
  • Experience performing database performance analysis and tuning
  • Experience backing up and restoring databases
  • Strong experience with MySQL database upgrades, backup, recovery and migration
  • Knowledge using MySQL Workbench for managing MySQL
