Job Summary
An entertainment technology company is seeking a Remote Narrative News Podcast Managing Editor.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working closely with hosts and senior staff to set editorial priorities for the show
- Providing regular feedback to hosts, editors, supervising producers, and producers
- Ensuring proper resource allocation and staffing for the show
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience running and managing a team
- 5+ years of journalism or documentary experience
- Excellent news judgement
- Experience managing, mentoring, and helping others develop in their careers
- Comfort and proficiency in structuring and editing narrative pieces
- An ability to jump between topics and contribute meaningful guidance
