Job Summary
A nationwide environmental consulting firm has a current position open for a Remote National Environmental Policy Act Project Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Writing and managing the preparation of EAs and EISs addressing the development for a wide variety of projects
- Supporting business line growth objectives and leading the development of EAs and EISs
- Assisting teams by providing technical oversight and guidance for the preparation of key aspects of NEPA documents
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 7 years of NEPA document preparation and experience in environmental consulting
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in environmental planning, environmental science, or another science-related field
- A working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations
- A working understanding of agency internal processes and procedures and positive existing relationships
- Experience with a subset of natural and cultural resource issues, wind and solar projects, transmission projects, etc
