Job Summary

An information technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Neighbor Discovery Protocol Network Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Implement design strategies
• Test network infrastructure in a controlled lab environment
• Work with implemented standards and design patterns/paradigms for system development within a team

Required Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of routing and firewall technologies required
• 6+ years' experience working with Neighbor Discovery Protocol (NDP)
• Experience operating stateful inspection and next generation firewalls
• 6+ years' experience using encryption protocols (BGP, OSPF, or IPSec)
• Experience in operating complex WAN and LAN environments
• Experience with Cisco and/or Arista Network routers, Gigamon Taps, and Palo Alto firewalls
