Job Summary
A care management provider for newborns has a current position open for a Remote Neonatal Case Management Nurse.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluating the needs of the high-risk neonatal population
- Acting as a member advocate by the appropriate selection of services
- Initiating engagement with member’s caregiver during inpatient stay
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, unrestricted license in state of residence is required
- Three or more years of clinical experience as a Pediatric/NICU nurse or Adult ICU
- If experience is Adult ICU, must have experience in a health plan in a CM or discharge planning role
- Experience with data entry into a database or EHR required. Must have strong computer skills
- CCM certification highly desirable; and is required after two years of employment
