Job Summary
An energy technology company has an open position for a Remote Network DevOps and Cloud Engineer IT Principal.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Leading a small team of DevOps engineers using Agile and Scrum principles
- Leading DevOps automation efforts for critical Network and Cloud initiatives
- Injecting automation, configuration management, and functional testing into deployments
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree or related work experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience managing an organization’s AWS cloud-based systems, processes, and personnel
- Experience with the configuration tools of Terraform and/or CloudFormation
- An understanding of network layers, cloud network topologies, especially with AWS components
- Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Solarwinds, NetBrain
- Knowledge and experience getting value out of Agile methodologies
