Job Summary
A software and data analytics company is filling a position for a Remote Network Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provision new core facing MPLS links and customer facing IP connections
- Provide tier 3 support to customers on their Internet and VoIP services
- Clearly document all steps taken to identify and resolve a customer reported issue
Position Requirements Include:
- 2-4 years of network experience is required
- Experience deploying and maintaining Juniper MX series routers in a service provider environment
- JNCIA or CCNA required (JNCIP-SP preferred)
- Knowledge/experience with network protocols (specifically TCP/IP) and dynamic routing protocols
- Experience in programming languages used for scripting or automation of routine tasks
