Job Summary

An IT consulting company has an open position for a Remote Network Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing setup and support for primarily VeloCloud network hardware and software appliances
  • Working with clients to install, maintain, and troubleshoot various network and IT related elements
  • Acting as lead engineer on assigned projects

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Excellent analytical skills in the analysis of technical problems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience with enterprise-level network design, engineering, and administration
  • Experience with common networking devices
  • Experience interfacing with customer POCs to evaluate networking needs or requirements
