Job Summary
A health insurance company is seeking a Remote Network Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Planning, designing, and implementing network systems
- Providing consultation and execution of network design and administration
- Conducting research and recommending network technology solutions
Qualifications for this position include:
- 4+ years work experience with large-scale enterprise data networking infrastructure
- Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience IT related field
- Deep understanding of network protocols at layers 2 through 4 of the OSI model (Ethernet, IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP)
- Technical skill set to architect, implement and maintain operational solutions for monitoring, alerting and tracking issues (SNMP, IPSLA, Netflow)
- Extensive experience with capturing network traffic as necessary and deep packet inspection and protocol analysis
- Advanced skills with deep packet inspection and protocol analysis
