Job Summary

An open cloud company is filling a position for a Remote Network Engineer in San Francisco.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Configuring and maintaining Cisco and Juniper routers and switches using CLI
  • Configuring and troubleshooting Layer 3 routing protocols
  • Configuring and administering Layer 2 switching technologies VLAN and STP

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Networking
  • 2 years of experience as Network Enginee
  • Internet protocol addressing and subnetting them using VLSM
  • configuring ACLs, NATs and port based security
  • performing IOS and JUNOS software upgrades using TFTP
