Job Summary
A cloud collaboration firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Network Planner.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Define and plan physical transport network architecture design
- Optimize physical network for optimal reliability while reducing costs
- Manage and implement projects related to optimization to include research cost, market providers, timelines
Qualifications for this position include:
- Associates degree from an accredited college or university
- 5 years experience in network design and engineering required
- 5 years interpreting tariffs, LERG, MSA and interconnection agreements
- Minimum of 5 years with Telecommunication networks: Ribbon, VIOP, SS7, SONET, ETHERNET
- Minimum 1 year with SQL and analyzing large data sets
- Knowledge of PSTN routing including jurisdictional routing, alternate tandems, and LERG homing arrangements
