Job Summary
A content delivery network and cloud service provider is seeking a Remote Network System Software Engineer II.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Identifying and eliminating performance bottlenecks
- Becoming a Linux Kernel expert on the product development team
- Creating and maintaining integrations between our hardware and APIs
Qualifications for this position include:
- 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- Possess prior working experience in network software development and/or systems engineering
- Able to write efficient clean code with Perl, Python, Go, or C
- Have working knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP/S and BGP
- Demonstrate experience with QEMU, KVM nftables, and ebtables
