Job Summary

Motivated individuals will find a full-time hourly opportunity as a Remote New Business Sales Consultant, responsible for conducting high-volume outreach to schools and organizations, introducing them to Scholastic's Book Fair programs, and qualifying leads to drive sales growth.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct high-volume outbound phone outreach to schools, districts, and organizations
  • Introduce Scholastic Book Fairs to decision-makers and lead initial discovery conversations
  • Track outreach activity and insights in the CRM system while meeting activity and lead generation goals
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of three years of proven successful sales experience in district/territory sales or customer service
  • Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or CRM systems
  • Familiarization with children's literature and school activities is desired
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
