Job Summary

An online education company has an open position for a Remote New Mexico Certified High School Music Teacher.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver specific course content in an online environment
• Take ownership for student’s academic progress and attendance
• Conduct live Synchronous Teaching for a minimum of 15 hours per week

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to travel as required (approximately 10% of the time)
• Appropriate New Mexico teaching certification
• Pedagogical knowledge of content being taught and ability to apply critical thinking
• Knowledge of state content standards and ability to align those with the K12 curriculum
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word; PowerPoint
• Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms
