Job Summary
A provider of satirical news articles has an open position for a Remote News Editor.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Build a queue of news stories every morning
- Write or assign 20 – 30 news stories a day
- Manage staff and/or freelance news writers
Qualifications for this position include:
- Exceptional headline-writing abilities.
- Exhibits outstanding news judgment
- Ability to adapt to overlapping news cycles and tight deadlines
- Strong background in and love of journalism
- Have a deep knowledge of pop culture
