Job Summary
A software development company has an open position for a Remote Node.js Web Developer in Chicago.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Understanding the client’s big-picture business value and technical direction and articulating possible solutions and next steps beyond the project at hand
- Regularly participating in pair programming and code reviews
- Solving a broad subset of problems with a broader set of solutions by choosing the right language, framework, and tool for a problem
Position Requirements Include:
- Four-year college degree or successful completion of respected bootcamp/accelerator, or extensive mentorship program
- 3+ years experience in backend web development using Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience in Postgres / PostgreSQL database experience
- Experience in Domain Driven Design
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Excellent
- Authorization to work in the United States
