Job Summary
A mortgage company is in need of a Remote Non Delegated Mortgage Underwriter 3.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing individual pipeline on a daily basis
- Identifying any document deficiencies
- Assisting other department personnel in interpreting underwriting guidelines
Position Requirements Include:
- 5+ years mortgage industry experience with a minimum of 3 years' recent, frontline underwriting experience
- 3+ years working in a remote underwriting capacity
- Loan quality and risk management
- Knowledge of FNMA and FHLMC guidelines
- Proficiency with automated underwriting systems such as Desktop Underwriter and Loan Prospector
- Good Customer/Client service skills
