Remote Non Medical Transcriptionist

Job Summary

A transcription service provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Non Medical Transcriptionist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Transcribing oral history interviews for a variety of topics and backgrounds
• Applying fast and accurate typing skills as 80 wpm to deliver files within 24 hours
• Providing broad knowledge of subject matter to strengthen the skillset usage

Qualifications Include:

• Strong language, style, and punctuation skills, and the capability and willingness to follow our in-house style manual
• Ability to verify names and terms via brief internet research. Much of the work we do is for archives,
• Integarte transcripts will become part of a historical record and need to be of high quality
• A reliable internet connection is a must and Dropbox setup
• Use of transcription software controlled via hotkeys or a foot pedal
