Job Summary
A non-profit organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Non Profit Geographic Information System Administrator.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Performing GIS analysis and other tasks as directed by the Data Science leadership
- Submitting and tracking requests and handling incidents as an Authorized Caller
- Auditing GIS environment (servers, files, services) for security, performance, configuration issues
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Geospatial science, Environmental Science, Information Systems, or another related field
- 2- 5 years of relevant GIS Administration experience
- 2-5 years GIS Analysis experience
- Problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituents in a diverse community
- Excellent customer service skills
