Job Summary

A financial services company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Non QM Mortgage Underwriter.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Clear both Prior to Doc and Prior to Funding credit conditions in compliance with underwriter's initial decision
• Review loans submitted to ensure program requirements are met
• Order services as needed to support underwriting process

Qualifications Include:

• Must have recent experience underwriting non-QM loans
• Thorough understanding of self-employed income analysis required
• High School Diploma
• Must be able to analyze applications and determine the borrower's ability to repay
• Prior mortgage underwriting and/or mortgage processing experience required
• Prior experience working with automated Loan Origination/Underwriting Systems and Automated Underwriting
