Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Completes thorough analysis of loan files for compliance with guidelines
Evaluates credit packages and collateral to ensure investment quality
Communicates loan decisions and maintains underwriting activity logs

Required Qualifications

Minimum five years of recent NON-QM mortgage underwriting experience
Solid knowledge of underwriting guidelines including FNMA and FHLMC
Ability to review and calculate complex financials and tax profiles
Encompass loan origination system experience required (5+ years)
High school diploma
