Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Non QM Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Manually underwrite mortgage loan transactions according to company and investor credit guidelines
• Perform quality control audits of third-party vendors to ensure compliance with mortgage loan requirements
• Analyze loan applications and conduct financial due diligence to assess borrower creditworthiness and loan risk

Required Qualifications

• Recent hands-on non-QM underwriting experience, including DSCR and Bank Statement qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as an underwriter with a high-volume background
• Ability to manually calculate income across various non-QM programs
• Proficiency in Encompass for managing workflows and documentation
• Strong understanding of non-QM guidelines and risk layering
