Remote Non-QM Underwriter

Job Summary

Evaluating and underwriting complex non-qualified mortgage (Non-QM) loan applications, the full-time Remote Non-QM Underwriter will ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements while maintaining a high level of service and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze loan files, including income documentation and credit reports for various Non-QM loan products
• Underwrite and approve or deny loan applications based on company guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Communicate with loan officers and stakeholders to resolve issues and obtain necessary documentation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in underwriting Non-QM loans
• Strong knowledge of Bank Statement, DSCR, and Asset Depletion products
• Experience in underwriting Non-QM roles within the last 6 months
• Deep understanding of underwriting guidelines and compliance standards related to Non-QM loans
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of loan files accurately
