Remote Non-QM Underwriter
Job Summary
Evaluating and underwriting complex non-qualified mortgage (Non-QM) loan applications, the full-time Remote Non-QM Underwriter will ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements while maintaining high service and accuracy standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze loan files, including income documentation, credit reports, and asset verification for various Non-QM loan products
- Underwrite and approve or deny loan applications based on company guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Communicate with loan officers and processors to obtain necessary documentation and resolve any issues
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in underwriting Non-QM loans
- Strong knowledge and experience with Bank Statement, DSCR, and Asset Depletion products
- Experience underwriting Non-QM roles within the last 6 months
- Deep understanding of underwriting guidelines, regulations, and compliance standards related to Non-QM loans
- Proven ability to handle a high volume of loan files while maintaining accuracy
