Remote Non-QM Underwriter
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Remote Wholesale Non-QM Underwriter, the full-time position will underwrite Non-QM loans from initial review to final decision while working remotely in a fast-paced TPO environment.
Key responsibilities
- Underwrite Non-QM loans, reviewing income, assets, credit, collateral, and supporting documentation
- Analyze loan files for compliance with investor and program guidelines, issuing clear underwriting decisions
- Collaborate with underwriters, investors, and brokers to maintain quality and production standards
Required qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of recent Non-QM wholesale/TPO underwriting experience
- Strong knowledge of Non-QM underwriting principles
- Proficiency in using Encompass for loan file management
- Ability to work independently and handle complex underwriting scenarios
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
