Remote Non Qualified Mortgage Underwriter

Job Summary

A mortgage services provider has a current position open for a Remote Non Qualified Mortgage Underwriter.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Evaluating and examining loan files to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance
• Issuing loan decisions to sales and operations staff in a clear and concise manner
• Working with post-closing department on any stipulations for closed files

Qualifications Include:

• 4+ years of recent mortgage underwriting experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Recent Non-QM and Non-Agency underwriting experience
• Recent manual underwriting experience
• Knowledge of compliance and disclosure requirements
• Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
