Job Summary
The More Than Giving Company is seeking a virtual administrative assistant to perform a variety of administrative and event/conference coordinating tasks for nonprofit organizations. The VA must be located in the Philadelphia area and must be able to attend events/conferences onsite. The duties of the NPA include the following:
Event Coordinator:
Maintain event registration(s)
Maintain and update event calendar
Understand the needs and requirements for each event
Organize event logistics: location, invitation list, equipment and promotional material
Manage event set-up and tear down
Administrative Assistant:
Schedule and organize board and committee meetings; record and distribute notes
Attend monthly board meetings virtually
Manage and update organization's contact database
Manage and update donor/sponsor information
Provide administrative support to fundraising and special events
Assist in the development and execution of email campaigns
Process general correspondence
Professional Requirements:
Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or relevant role
Experience in event planning required
Nonprofit experience is required
College degree is preferred
Excellent time management skills; Solid organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects independently
VA must be located in the Philadelphia area.
Must complete The More than Giving Co paid training program
Technology Requirements:
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, MailChimp, Dropbox
Reliable high-speed internet connection
Clear Phone/Headset/Reliable computer hardware and software
