Job Summary

A nonprofit organization has a current position open for a Remote Nonprofit Business Development Director in Kern County.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Manage and grow current corporate accounts
• Develop strategic plans with each company to achieve established fundraising and company participation goals
• Manage assigned community teams

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Ability and willingness to travel and to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years successful experience in fundraising, outside sales or marketing
• Ability to accomplish results through strong volunteer recruitment, training, and management
• Knowledge of the company's mission and programs
