Job Summary
A nonprofit organization has a current position open for a Telecommute Nonprofit Campaign Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Help develop and coordinate local, state and federal campaigns and programs in Puerto Rico
- Assist with matters that address the root causes of the devastation in Puerto Rico
- Create a political education and leadership development program to support the diaspora
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- A strong commitment to social justice
- An understanding of challenges facing immigrant communities, communities of color, and low-and-moderate-income families
- 5-8 years strategic campaign and organizing experience in the Puerto Rican community
- Experience in developing popular education training and workshops
- A track record of developing and maintaining strong working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
