Job Summary
A farmed animal advocacy organization has a current position open for a Remote Nonprofit Controller.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Managing and overseeing general day-to-day accounting
- Preparing budgets and forecasts with department
- Maintaining, developing, and documenting processes for finance and accounting
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
- CPA license or enough experience to obtain one
- Five to seven years of accounting experience
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of and ability to interpret and apply generally accepted accounting principles
- Experience with Excel and Google Sheets
