Job Summary

A nonprofit environmental organization has an open position for a Remote NonProfit Financial Controller.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Managing all restricted revenue and ensure timely recording in the accounting system
• Ensuring all revenue and expenses are recorded accurately ahead of month end responsibilities
• Reviewing and approving all month-end bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedules

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Eight (8) years of accounting experience, five (5) years of general accounting experience
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
• Expertise in Excel, especially pivot tables and macros, as well as in Intacct
• Experience in managing and training accounting staff
• Demonstrated expertise in leading the month-end close process
